What is Chiropractic?

Chiropractic comes from Greek words which means done by hand, and was defined by D.D Palmer as “a science of healing without drugs”. Chiropractic is a profession of science, philosophy and art. The philosophy of Chiropractic is based on “the human body has self-adjusting and recuperative ability”. Chiropractic emphasizes on leading and elaborating this ability to raise the self-healing ability in the body without using drugs. Chiropractors focus on the harmonious relationship between spine and nerves. Chiropractors are primary care practitioners, who diagnose, treat and prevent musculoskeletal issues caused by an altered nervous system by looking for and adjusting spinal subluxation, recovering the spinal curve, optimizing the nervous system and maintaining all kinds of instruction. We are not treating any diseases, we are preventing and curing musculoskeletal dysfunction caused by an altered nervous system.
