What is Subluxation?

Subluxation complex: kinesiopathology, neuropathophysiology, myopathology, histopathology, and biochemistry.

Subluxation occurs when a vertebra impedes the transmission of information along the spine and throughout the central nervous system. There are three main causes of subluxation, this includes Physical stress, Chemical Stress and Emotional stress. Physical stress refers to the trauma of the birth process, sport injuries, falls, accidents and countless other stresses over the course of your lifetime adversely affecting the health of your spine. Chemical stressors are the food we eat like poor nutrition, sugar, refined carbohydrates and unhealthy fats. Drugs, preservatives, tobacco, alcohol, vaccinations, pollen and a host of other substances also affect our nervous systems, muscle tone and our spines.

Fear, grief, anger and other emotions are common forms of emotional stress, which are often something we create ourselves.

If you lack the reserves to adapt to stress, your body reacts by ‘tripping a circuit breaker’ and causing vertebral subluxation.

Those who enjoy good health, with everything working properly, can accommodate stress better than someone who isn’t eating right, isn’t getting the proper rest and is walking around with a subluxated nervous system. Their ability to adapt to and to accommodate everyday stress is severely impaired.
